General Manager: Lori Dupuis
Lori Dupuis is a three-time World Champion and a two time Olympian with Team Canada. She had the pleasure of playing on the first ever Women’s Olympic team in Nagano, Japan in 1998 where they won a silver medal. She then represented Canada again in Salt Lake City in 2002 where they won the first gold medal for Canadian Hockey in 50 years. Lori started playing hockey in her home town of Williamstown, just outside of Cornwall, Ontario. She moved to Toronto to attend the University of Toronto and after graduating played for fifteen years for the Brampton Thunder in the Canadian Women's Hockey League. After retiring in 2013, Lori decided to stay involved with the Thunder where she presently holds the position of General Manager. She has established a high level of achievement with her distinguished athletic and academic career. Lori is currently employed as a mortgage agent in Brampton and is co-owner with Jayna Hefford of a female hockey school in Kingston, ON.
Assistant General Manager: Chelsea Purcell
This is Chelsea's first year as Assistant General Manager for the Brampton Thunder. She played 3 years in the CWHL for Team Alberta/Calgary Inferno prior to moving out to Toronto. Chelsea manages game day events and organizes associations attending our games. She manages our social media team, team fundraisers and events, as well as player relations and communication.
Equipment Manager: MJ Bonevelle
M. J. has been working with the CWHL since 2012 as an off-ice official and as a CWHL equipment manager since 2013. This is her third season with Brampton. She played tennis and soccer at Siena Heights University, but is now heavily immersed in hockey, playing in several recreational leagues as both a skater and a goalie, blogging about the CWHL and about adult recreational hockey, and is the current President of the Kitchener-Waterloo Women’s Recreational Hockey League.
Athletic Therapist: Jess Pemberton
Jessica has been an Athletic Therapist for two years. She has worked with a variety of sports including hockey, soccer, rugby and football. This will be her first season with the Brampton Thunder and is excited about being part of the team to help the athletes perform at their best.
Sports Therapist: Lindsay Geiger
Lindsay has been with the CWHL Brampton Thunder Team for two years; treating and supporting the girls throughout the season. She has developed a practice that applies manual techniques to help the athletes succeed on and off the ice to their greatest abilities. She has worked with multiple Olympians and the CIS Hockey Canada team in Calgary this past summer. This allowed her to open her horizon to new skills for treatment to reduce injuries in season.
