Head Coach: Tyler Fines
Tyler made his coaching debut with the Orangeville 'AA' hockey club winning the OMHA All-Ontario's. He then made the jump to ACHA University Hockey as coach of the Washington Huskies. The Huskies were able to win the PAC-10 championship for the 1st time in school history. After moving home to Orangeville, he became Head Coach, GM and owner of the Orangeville Americans Jr. A team in the GMHL for 4 years. He won coach of the year in 2010, was runner up twice and made the playoffs every year. In the 2014-2015 Jr. A season, Tyler finished with the Temiscaming Titans of Quebec and won the GMHL championship going on a 25 game win streak with his arrival. Tyler accepted the Head Coaching position of the Brampton Thunder in September 2015 improving the team to it's best winning record in team history. Tyler was also awarded 'Coach of the Year, while many other players were nominated in each award category. He also works in the GTHL as a coach at the bantam level. Tyler works for Everest Academy, prep school for elite athletes in Toronto as an on-ice coach and admissions director.
Assistant Coach: Kevin Stone
Kevin hails from Orangeville ON where he played his minor hockey and then skated for his hometown Junior team the Orangeville Crushers. He played in the NCAA for the Fredonia State Blue Devils. As a goaltender he was a 2 year captain and had an All-American nomination his senior year. After College Stone joined the pro ranks where he played in the Florida Panthers farm system with the Port Huron Bordercats and the Louisville Panthers. After minor league stops in South Carolina, Ohio and Texas, Stone started his coaching career with the Bozeman ICEDOGS of the NAHL. He returned to Orangeville to coach in the OJHL and is now excited to be a part of the Brampton Thunder organization for his second season. Kevin is the General Manager of the Orangeville Golf and Country Club where the Thunder hosted their inaugural Pre Season Golf Classic.
